Having served for seven years in the Royal Navy, Stephen’s experience and leadership
skills are second to none.

With thirty years in senior business roles, selling to clients in the Media, Defence,
Automotive and Telecommunications industries, he has a long history of revitalising
struggling sales initiatives. He set up a venture capital operation worth over ?250 million
for BT Wholesale Markets and a joint venture between BT and a major UK mobile
operator worth ?1bn. While working for Pearson, his presentational skills saw him pitch
successfully for software contracts against HP and Accenture, and convince Rupert
Murdoch to award his team the responsibility of replacing News Corporation’s editorial
software and systems.
